As your Community Champion I will:
Represent Residents - Not Special Interests
Fight High-Density Development
Tackle Homeless and Sober Living Home Issues
Protect Your Tax Dollars From Wasteful Spending
As a third generation Huntington Beach resident and local small business owner, I care deeply about the direction of our city. I will represent the residents, not special interests. I am dedicated to fighting high-density development, preserving our open space, improving our infrastructure, and preventing wasteful spending. I will help improve the downtown district and be part of the solution regarding some of the crime associated with late night activities. Lastly, the financial arrangement between Huntington Beach and Poseidon, which a previous council approved, is not good for the city. As your councilmember, I will stay close to this topic, encouraging the Orange County Water District to challenge Poseidon, keep them transparent and to hold them accountable.
Our city will face financial challenges that will require a sophisticated understanding of complex issues such as unfunded liabilities. My background as a Financial Advisor makes me uniquely qualified as your councilmember. I currently serve as vice-chairman of the Finance Commission. Additionally, my professional experience negotiating contracts, settlements, and sales of businesses will prove invaluable in contract negotiations and attracting new businesses to Huntington Beach.
As your community champion, I will protect our suburban beach community. I respectfully request your vote for Huntington Beach City Council.
